  Better than expected. As a rule I avoid restaurants that employ hustlers to bring in tourists. It's a sign that there service and food isn't good enough to earn repeat business and so they have to hustle tourists to stay in business. The reason we made an exception is that they had a very interesting menu - and the lady hustler was unusually polite and respectful. I'm glad we made an exception. The service was excellent and so was my steak with Gorgonzola. My wife didn't rave about her dish but said it was good too (if it was great, she would have raved). We'll be in Callao Salvaje for a while so we'll probably return. I would give it 5 stars almost anywhere else but that has got to be reserved for Santa Lucia which is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Spain. Everything else gets 4 stars at best.

  I had the chicken escolope and my wife had the penne arribita and the portion sizes were good, the coffee was good and the house white was very drinkable!
